Do you know Hum? They were one of about 10 million bands in the mid-’90s who were using guitars to make rock music for sensitive types, scoring an incredibly modest hit with 1995's “Stars,” which also made it on Beavis and Butt-Head. Anyway. This is their best song, in my reckoning, the opener to their last album, 1998's “Downward Is Heavenward,” which is a great title for a record.
