Ford Focus RS, Saab 9-3 Viggen, Subaru Legacy GT-B: The Dopest Cars I Found For Sale Online

Here’s a classic Mercedes-Benz out on the east coast that looks to be in pretty good condition. Owning a vintage Benz is an experience. You feel like a million bucks as you cruise nice and slow. You also get thumbs up everywhere you go.

This Mercedes-Benz 250 was built during the time that the numbers actually translated to engine size. Yep, that means this has a 2.5-liter M114 straight six making about 146 ponies. This one isn’t perfect, but it’s in good weekend cruiser condition. It’s $5,800 on Facebook Marketplace in Myersville, Maryland with 118,000 miles.

The adorable Chevrolet LUV was a product of Isuzu wearing the Chevy bowtie. It was Chevy’s way of getting in on the rush of imported small trucks without actually having to build them itself.

This LUV sports rad graphics, four-wheel-drive and the Mikado package, which adds a sliding rear window, AM/FM radio, three-spoke steering wheel and striped seats. This one also has a factory skid plate and JDM headlights.

It appears to be in good original condition, owing to being a one-owner vehicle with just 47,000 miles. It’s $15,000 on Facebook Marketplace in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The Subaru wagon before you looks like any other Legacy, but it’s actually something special. According to most sources, the “B” in the name refers to the Bilstein suspension the car is equipped with. But that’s not all.

Under the hood is a EJ20R twin-turbo flat four making 276 hp. Oh yeah, this thing sounds like a sleeper. Sadly, that power goes through an automatic transmission, but it should be plenty fun.

For a go-anywhere motorcycle it’s hard to beat a sidecar-equipped Ural with two-wheel drive. And of course you get a sidecar to carry your favorite pet or person on off-the-grid treks.

The Gear Up features a 749cc boxer twin making 40 hp. These can barely go the speed limit on the highway, but at least it’ll go just about anywhere. This one is $9,950 on Facebook Marketplace in San Diego, California.

In the late 1970s, Porsche was looking for new cars to breathe some fresh life into its lineup. Its idea to achieve that was to build front-engine, water cooled cars. Out came the Porsche 928 with its V8 and the 924 on the low end with its four cylinder.

The 944 would be the company’s mid-level car. It rolled on the 924's platform, but got a 2.5-liter M44/40 four cylinder that was derived from the 928's engine. It makes a modest 158 hp to the rear wheels through a manual transaxle.

This one appears to be in great shape and is $8,500 on Facebook Marketplace in Washington Heights, New York with 128,00 miles.

I recently got to play with a Class 11 Beetle out in the desert and words simply cannot describe how big of a smile such a little car will put on your face. As the Baja Bug name implies, these are Beetles modified for off-roading, typically for the open desert, sand dunes or beaches.

This 1970 Beetle has a wild paintjob, zero rust and looks clean inside and out. The seller says that the car has new parts from plugs, wires, cap and rotor. It’s $11,500 on Facebook Marketplace in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Jalopnik Contributor Tom McParland cleverly notes that you can buy one of these Ford hot hatches for less than a loaded Mazda 3. And in doing so you get one epic ride.

Under the hood is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four delivering a healthy 350 hp and 350 lb-ft torque through a manual transmission to all wheels. I mean, what’s not to love about that?

Here’s one for $26,995 on CarGurus in Milwaukie, Oregon with 111,000 miles and a clean CarFax.

We’ve said that the Saab 9-3 Viggen was the last great Saab. It’s a spiritual successor to the famed 900 Turbo. The name comes from one Saab’s fighter jets, and delivers serious performance in a sleek package. The turbocharged 2.3-liter turbo four engine makes 230 hp, and you can enjoy fun under the sun with its convertible top.

The seller says that this one is in good shape and takes just $25 to fill up. It’s $4,700 on Craigslist in Piney Flats, Tennessee with 131,000 miles.

Deep down inside every enthusiast wants to drive a fire engine at least once. Well, here’s a chance to do it on the cheap!

The C60 was GM’s medium duty chassis and you can see them still doing work today on farms and occasionally at fire departments using old equipment.

This Chevrolet C60 has spent much of its life sitting idle for a volunteer fire department, then it was driven around a golf course by a new owner. Now it’s ready to do something different. It has all of 23,000 miles on its odometer and a 6.0-liter V8 under the hood. The PTO is said to work and the pump does, too, but the water tank has a hole in it.

The seller says that the brakes need some work, but the parts come with it. It’s $1,900 on Facebook Marketplace in Somonauk, Illinois.
