Sunny, breezy, 75 degrees and filled with the sounds of race cars doing race car things—not a bad Saturday at all here in Austin, Texas. Here are some scenes from today out at Circuit of the Americas.
Once again Lewis Hamilton, who’s had good luck here in the past, is on pole, this time setting a new record in qualifying. We still think the race will be a predictable one tomorrow, but our fingers are crossed for at least a little drama. (Drama that’s not a catastrophic rainstorm, at least.)

From our man Kurt Bradley are some shots from today’s practice and qualifying. Also, Taylor Swift is playing tonight, but Kurt couldn’t get into that. I think he’s pretty broken up about it, so say nice things if you see him out there.
