On select Delta Air Lines flights today, fliers will get free margaritas, as the airline celebrates its 1,000,000th margarita sold on board. Delta says they serve an average of 1,000 margaritas made with Tequila Avion (nice branding there) every day.
Tequila Avion was voted "World's Best Tasting Tequila" at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Delta was named the 2014 Airline of the Year by Air Transport World magazine. They did a similar promotion back in 2012, for Cinco de Mayo.
Delta also announced the addition of several craft beers to its beverage menu recently. Depending on the region from which you're flying, you'll see offerings from Ballast Point Brewing, Blue Point Brewing, Brooklyn Brewery, Lagunitas Brewing, Newburyport Brewing, Samuel Adams, Stone Brewing, and SweetWater Brewery.
