Detroit Man: I Set 'Hundreds' Of Fires To Get Revenge On Firefighters

A suspected serial arsonist in Detroit says he has a 30-year-long grudge with the city's fire department, so he has been torching hundreds of homes in retaliation ever since. He was caught by investigators this week.

Our local Fox affiliate reports that Detroit Fire Department investigators set up surveillance on Robinwood Street (sound familiar? It's down the street from this part of Robinwood Street) on the city's east side after a string of house fires there.

There were five consecutive fires on that street. When he was arrested, he admitted to each one. But officers say he admitted to more. Hundreds more. The reason why?

He claims his brother was electrocuted years ago when he was 10 years old and firefighters wouldn't let him see his brother.

The man, also suspected of squatting in homes on that street, has been charged.
