Remember the Infiniti M45? What about the second generation? The 2015 Infiniti Q70 is the third generation of those memorable cars, so that's why Infiniti is trying to give it a new identity: it's the luxury sedan for a lot of tall people.
What Infiniti showed Thursday at the New York Auto Show was the Q70L, the long-wheelbase version of the Q70. Why does this exist?
Well, Infiniti Americas President Michael Bartsch said it's because there are people who want the space of an SUV but want to drive a luxury sedan. I think I'd like these people who would rather drive a car than a car-on-stilts crossover.
Apparently there's room for four 6-foot-2 adults in the Q70L. And they'd definitely enjoy the noise from the V8 version of this car. Go on, executives and buy this Infiniti instead of an SUV.
